This is a re-architect of the vmpooler initialisation code to:
1. Allow an API service for both manager and the api
2. Add the Prometheus endpoints to the web service.
Needed to change the way the Rack Service is started as instantiating
using ".New" leads to a failure to initialise the http Stats
collection.
3. Selectively load the pooler api and/or Prometheus endpoints.
4. Rework API Spec tests for revised API loading. Needed to tidy up the
initialisation and perform a reset! after each test to avoid "leaks"
and dependencies between the tests.
This commit removes a additional authenticate method that is defined in the token_spec tests. Instead, authenticate is used from api/helpers. To support this change the config provided is updated to specify a dummy provider. Without this change authenticate cannot be tested along with token_spec because token_spec redefines authenticate.
Previously all of the spec tests for VM Pooler were all together in the specs
directory. However some tests require a working local Redis server to operate
and other instead mock all external dependencies. This commit splits the test
files between unit and integration, where integration tests require a working
Redis instance, and unit tests do not. This commit also removes the root
`vmpooler` directory as it is not required. The tests rake test still operates
correctly.
This commit also adds the mock_redis library for testing for the pool_manager.
